FAQ

What does your Custom Jewelry consultation look like?

Our Custom Jewelry consultation is a lot more simple, stress-free, and interactive than most would think!

Starting with our Custom Order Form, our clients can give us a broad idea of their desired piece of jewelry. Within 24-48 hours, we will get back to you with additional information/questions regarding details, and an estimated quote for the project.

Depending on speed of communication, we are able to come to an agreement with client about design concept and cost within 1-3 days.

I approved my design concept and I'm ready to pay! What's next?

To begin, we require a full payment* or a 50% deposit of the total cost (if project is over $1,000).

*Can be financed using Affirm's Installment or Split Pay Plans.

Once paid, the next step will be creating a CAD (Computer Aided Design) Rendering of what your design will look like in real life - which you will be able to view, revise, and approve before we proceed to send the design for manufacturing.

Awesome! Will I be updated on progress of my jewelry?

Yes! We love to virtually include our client's throughout the entire BTS making of their special custom piece: providing photo updates from the CAD Rendering, raw gold casting, and finally the finished product! If additional services such as Engraving and Laboratory Appraisal are selected, we will also send photo updates of progress.

When can I expect to my custom jewelry to be finished?

Depending on your custom piece, it can take anywhere from 1.5 (simple design)-3 weeks (complex design) to make.

I have gemstones and/or a setting I'd love to repurpose, is this something you can work with?

Absolutely! When submitting your Custom Order Form, be sure to mark the applicable field under "Will You Be Providing Any Materials?" and describe the project in the "Message" text box right underneath.

Will I be able to receive (gold or platinum) credit from my scrapped settings?

Unfortunately, we do not offer credit for scrapped settings.

We can source a different gemstone to set inside the setting if requested, or send the scrapped setting back to client along with the finished custom jewelry piece once completed.
